Cracking the AP Human Geography Exam, 2014 Edition. This book from Princeton Review is definitely one of the best AP Human Geography study guides. Great summaries of key information, large section on test-taking strategy, and 2 full-length practice exams.

Barron’s AP Human Geography, 4th Edition.  The Barron’s book is another excellent choice. Solid review of the course along with 3 full-length practice exams.  

About the Exam

The AP Geography course deals with the patterns and processes that effect human’s understanding and use of the earth’s surface. Spatial concepts and data are used along with landscape analysis. Topics include:

5.) Agriculture & Rural Land Use
6.) Industrialization & Economic Development
7.) Cities & Urban Land Use

The AP Statistics Exam format is:
Multiple-Choice Section: 60 minutes
-75 Questions

Free-Response Section: 75 minutes
-3 Essay Questions

The multiple choice and the frq sections each make up half of the final grade.

The AP Human Geography Exam date for the 2013/2014 school year is Tuesday, May 13th 2014 at 12 p.m. This test is offered once per year.
